  1. Hey Chris,
I have been watching your videos and love all the awesome content you’re sharing with the WordPress community. I wanted to invite you to checkout @PressTribe, a community of WordPress professionals, freelancers, agency owners and entrepreneurs who have come together to share resources and help each other grow. Be sure to join the slack channel to connect.

  2. Love the content Chris! I'm starting to dabble in web design and have a question. You mentioned once that most of your builds are WordPress based. Of those sites, how much custom coding goes into them? Is it mostly just developing using WordPress plugins and such or do your developers add a lot of css, js, etc? Thank you!

  3. I love these types of videos, Chris!

So many 'agency' or 'web development companies' WILL NOT divulge in type of content. Which makes it incredibly difficult for us smaller ones to get our foot in the door. I've followed your videos for months – watching on my way to the office or listening in the background while I work at home and I absolutely dig what you're doing. You don't need to hear it from me when I say good job – but Chris it's really awesome to FINALLY have someone who posts content like this.

    Big kudos from Indianapolis 🙂

  4. Another great video, I just sold my what I consider a higher end web design package $1500 and will be using a Divi child theme for the build. I'm just getting started so your video helps out a bunch. I have a business selling premade and custom e-commerce stores, however, just started out a separate marketing agency that also offers web design and I'm really trying hard not to outsource all the work so that I can keep my expenses down. What your thoughts on outsourcing do you ever outsource work or should you keep it all in house.

  5. Another valuable video for web developers and designers, Chris!
Giving a price quote, these days, to a client can be very difficult. I have upfront pricing, but I constantly feel like I have to defend and justify my prices to clients. Especially with all the cheap options out there. Wix and Squarespace commercials claim to give you the ability to create a "beautiful custom website" with their drag and drop interface. This makes clients think that web design is as simple as clicking, dragging and drop items on a page. They don't realize the time and effort that goes into creating a custom website in a real CMS like WordPress. It's too bad they allow these "Wix" type companies try to trick people into thinking web design is easy.

  6. One thing I'd suggest is changing the photos for the seo services section. I recognize those stock pics and they look a bit overwhelming, maybe graphics with icons or something could be better

  7. I really like the idea of having the prices displayed on your websites. Everybody web designer always says "well it depends" when asked about the price but they really mean is "it depends on how much I can get out of you". Having upfront cost can certainly help in client acquisition and I'll implement that right away in my business. Great video Chris
